When extensions last longer it is usually a sign of a poor set of extensions with too much glue being used and poor isolation causing multiple lashes to be stuck together, which inhibits the natural shedding patterns of eyelash extensions.  A good set of extensions will grow and shed with 2-4 weeks being the average time your lashes will look their best.

At an infill we remove extensions that have grown out and twisted, and replace extensions that have naturally shed with your natural lashes. Infills keep your lashes looking as thick and full as possible and are required every 2-3 weeks due to the natural hair growth cycle.

Our bodies naturally shed hair daily due to the hair growth cycle, so like the hair on your head, our bodies also shed eyelashes. Our bodies shed approximately 2-5 natural eyelashes per eye, per day. If you average this out at 3 lashes per day and you applied approximately 100 extensions to the suitable natural lashes on each eye then you would loose approximately:
After 7 days you would have lost 21 extensions
After 14 days you would have lost 42 extensions
